Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Line Check, a private rehearsal app for actors. By using Line Check, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Who Can Use Line Check

Line Check is for actors and rehearsal programs. If you are under 18, use Line Check only with permission from a parent, guardian, school, theatre program, or other responsible adult or organization that is authorized to help you rehearse.

Your Scripts And Materials

You are responsible for the scripts, pages, recordings, notes, character information, and other materials you upload or enter into Line Check. You must own those materials or have the rights, license, or permission needed to use them for rehearsal in the app.

Line Check does not give you performance rights, reproduction rights, distribution rights, or any other rights in scripts or shows that you do not already have. Use the app only for lawful private rehearsal and preparation.

Licensed Or Protected Scripts

If a script is licensed, unpublished, confidential, or otherwise protected, you may use Line Check only as allowed by your license, production, school, employer, union rules, or other applicable agreement. Line Check is not a permanent archive for licensed scripts. Protected show materials may be limited, expire, or be deleted after the rehearsal period or closing night.

Cloud Processing And Generated Audio

Some features send selected content to service providers so Line Check can read uploaded pages, prepare scenes, cast voices, create text-to-speech audio, evaluate rehearsal takes, provide support, and keep the service reliable. The Privacy Policy explains the providers we use and the kinds of data they may process.

Generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular performance. Review generated scenes, notes, and audio before relying on them.

Voice And Likeness Safety

Do not use Line Check to impersonate a real person, create deceptive recordings, violate another person's voice, likeness, publicity, privacy, or intellectual property rights, or generate content that is unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, harassing, deceptive, or unsafe.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse Line Check, interfere with the service, bypass security or script-protection controls, reverse engineer provider models, submit malware, scrape the service, abuse support channels, or use the app in a way that violates law, store policies, third-party provider terms, or another person's rights.

Scene Credits And Purchases

Scene Credits are an in-app usage measure for rehearsal generation features. Unless we say otherwise, credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be adjusted or returned when a generation fails. If Line Check later offers paid digital credits, subscriptions, or unlocks in the mobile app, purchases will be handled through the applicable app store where required.

Account Deletion And Privacy

You can request deletion of your Line Check account and associated app data from Settings or at getlinecheck.app/account-deletion. Some records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention. Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices in more detail.

Feedback And Support

If you send feedback, reports, or support requests, we may use them to operate, fix, and improve Line Check. If you report a specific generated audio line, the report may include that flagged generated audio clip and line details so we can review quality and safety. Please do not include full scripts, API keys, payment information, or sensitive personal information in support messages unless we specifically ask for it.

Copyright Concerns

If you believe content in Line Check infringes your rights, contact support@getlinecheck.app with enough detail for us to review the issue.

Changes And Suspension

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or misused the service.

Disclaimers

Line Check is provided as available and without guarantees that the service will be error free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular production, audition, class, or performance. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Line Check is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Store Terms

If you download Line Check through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store terms also apply. Store rules control purchases, refunds, subscriptions, and platform features where required by Apple or Google.
